"What's with the title?" "What kind of title is that?" All good questions, but I'll tell you if you will stop asking questions. I'll start from the beginning. I woke up. What an epic start. We ate breakfast. It's crazy how much adrenaline is in the air. We went and drove to the aviary. We went to see a show. The first falcon wouldn't come back until after the show had ended. After a while came the African Fish Eagle, and when it landed, or came down to land it looked like a airplane. If you call my dad and ask him about it, you'll have to stay there for a while while he told of the greatest story of the trip. After the show, we got to hold the fastest bird in the world, a Peregrine Falcon. After we went home and ate. And after we were chilling, we saw monkeys, which my mom had always wanted to see. I thought 'Why be so excited if she sees monkeys every day when she wakes me up'. After we went to see a very nice waterfall. Overall it was a eventful day.
By the way, a BIG shout out to Jack for turned 4!!!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Hard to believe you can hear me asking questions across the ocean!!! And me with laryngitis no less!!!! Awesome hearing, young man! And it's nice you are breathing that adrenaline air, because usually you are so passive. :) Falcons, eagles and monkeys...OH MY! Just like "The Wizard of Oz"! It does indeed sound like you had an eventful day. Back here in Chicago, my computer froze AGAIN!!! So I am proud to tell you that I am writing to you on my brand new Mac Pro. I have a lot to learn, but so far I am soooo happy with it. I think you'll like it too. Miss you all so much.

I truly hope that this comment is going in the right place. You may have to look around for someof the previous ones. My wife (your grandma) keeps telling me that I am getting it wrong, that my comments are inappropriate and incorrectly placed. Well, duh!! I am nothing if not inappropriate. Anyway, I am thinking of feeding her to my voracious pygmies.
ReplyDeleteThe birds sounded impressive, reminiscent of the Shlimovitz Dive Bombing Peacocks. They were so fast that their poop was like guided missiles. They were considered a rare delicasy on the Bushman dinner table. As a challenge, Clyde would hunt them wih a bow and arrow. Never too accurate to begin with, Clyde had to give up this practice when one of his arrows found a home in Myrtle's ample rear. More on this later.
