Sorry

Sorry
Sorry I haven't been blogging. We have no coverage and I've been to busy. to busy you might ask with what. I'll tell you if didn't stop asking questions. Last time I blogged it was before (I think) rafting, so I'll catch you up but yin not a lot of details. Rafting was a blast!!! During the rapids I sat at the front so I got a face full of water while everybody on barely got wet.
After rafting and Moab we went to Capitol Reef. We stayed in a place (in Capitol Reef)  called Friuta. We picked a lot of fruit (as you can guess). The apples were stupendous!!!  We then did a 6 mile hike, or new record. But it was extremely hard because it was in the water, it was called Sulfur Creek Trail. It was really beautiful.
Next we went to Bryce Canyon. We stayed in the in the nearby Dixie National Forest. It was pretty hot in then day, but at night it was freezing temperatures dropped almost to 50 f!!!! We looked at a lot of views, did some hikes that I can't remember. But the highlight of Bryce was the rodeo. There was a rodeo in town with every thing from bull riding to cattle lassoing.  There were a group of like 3 yrs. old to 5 yrs. old all riding sheep. One was so young that his dad had to hold him on the sheep.
Next we ventured to Arizona to go to Lake Powell. We got on the houseboat and the best part, it has a slide!!! I have spent about 4 hrs. on it in the one day we got, it was in a span between 11:00 and  8:00. So it was pretty impressive. We're now on our second day on the house boat.  It gets pretty hot, but since when it gets hot, we just jump of the side.

Now if you want more information contact my secretary (who is my mom)  for more info. Please call her every 5 minutes. She likes it, and if she says she doesn't, she's kidding.

Lake Powell out
Peace!!

Wowee!!!

These past 2 days have been full of action. As I left off  (or so I think) we were going off to or trip in a trip. We got to our first site in Moab (you can google it) and went to dinner at the Moab Brewery. That night was unbearable. We slept from 9 pm to 12 am then  got woken up because it was extremely hot. It started the might at 70 f and by midnight it was about 100 f.  We were up till 1:30 then fell asleep till 6.  Te next day we went to Delicate Arch (google it), then Negro Bill Canyon (google it). Both were amazing. Today we did 3 short hikes, then did a rock scramble up a mountain, then we had sunset at balancing rock (google it). Today it was Canyon Lands, yesterday it was Arches. We decided that we are not going to have another night like our 1st night, so we booked in to a Hampton Inn. And the best part, it has AC!!! Bye y'all, Adios Amigos, Shalom Alyechem, Mr. Awesome A.K.A Ben

Real Salt Lake!!!!!

Hi there!!! Sorry I didnt blog yesterday. I was to busy. Yesterday we went to Utah Olympic park. It was a training center for skiers and snowboarders. I know your thinking, in the summer , how? Well I'll tell you if you didn't keep asking questions. The did the tricks into the water, not on bare land. At the park there was also a tobaggon slide witch was awesome, then there was a zip line that was also awesome, and finally a ropes coarse. Today me and my dad went on a bike ride, the same trail that we did a couple days ago. But this time instead of only doing 2 there and 2 back we did 6 there and 4 back, we would have done the whole thing, but my dads tire popped. Then we went swimming at a pool. Now Im just laying low because I'm going to a fricken awesome Real Salt Lake game!!!!!!!!!! It startes at 8:00 here, which is 9:00 o'clock in Chicago. And I'm going to crack open my money that grandpa micheal who generously (not really) gave me $100 to spend and buy a jersey. Haleloyah!!!!!!!! See y'all later (not really), Ben A.K.A. Mr. Awesome P.S. Grandpa Micheal, really, there are no short rides only short rides?!?! And Moo-Shoo pork, really?? Have you benn drinking to much??

I'm Pooped!!!!!

Dear all you followers, aw what the heck, what's up y'all? Today was really awesome. We started the morning with tv, then hot tub, then (as my mom has decided) we headed for a trail head all the way on the other side of a few mountains. The drive there was uneventful, but not so the way back (I'll tell you about that later). The walk started off pretty bad. The first half mile we were climbing to a height of 600 m (that is from the ground, not sea level). the rest of he hike was uneventful. We stopped at a cute restaurant on the side of the highway called silver spoon diner. We had to wait a while for the food to come, but it was worth it. I got a hamburger that was wicked awesome!!!! Later we went to a hike that let us stream jump, but there weren't any streams. It was completely dry!!! But it was soon made up for. We came for what we came for, donut falls.we had to walk down a stream then climbed up a lot of boulders to get to the falls. Now you would think donut falls would come out of a piece of rock shaped like a donut, but no, it's actually a waterfall that falls through a cave (more like a tunnel) shaped like a don't, then goes into a series of waterfalls, down to everything else I have just explained. Then for the driving, as I said, the drive there was uneventful, but the way back. Uh-oh. My mom decided to go around the mountains I was asking about, and we went up in curves, and down in curves. It was so steep on the way down that my mom was going 60 mph without her foot on the gas!!!!! Then came white knuckle driving (Montenegro all over again). One lane, one a ledge on a mountain really, really high. All 3 of us kids were freaking out like "stop the car" or the best one "AAAAAAGGGGGGHHHHHH". Wasn't it smart of me to do that? I know right, so smart. Anyway, as we got home we got a whiff of burning rubber, it turns out, my mom was riding the brakes so much, that she burnt the tires!!! Later we got in the hot tub again. I am right now sitting on the couch, digesting dinner, which was chicken, green beans, and potatoes. If you know me you now that I only ate the chicken. Well I got to go, my mom's yelling at me that I'm taking to long, So Bye, Adiyos Amigos, Shalom Haverim (good bye friends in Hebrew), See ya later suckas, The one and only, Mr. Awesome

We stopped at a holiday inn at the halfway point for the night. Them the next morning we again left at 7 and got here at 6. The time is different by one hour from here and Chicago. We ran out of the car and inspected our house. We have a flat screen tv and a hot tub. Halleloyah!!!!!! I have my own room, and the girls share a room. Today we are going to take a hike, and our friends who are here with us's family are coming for diner. But for the rest of the day, we're just going to play it by ear.
