Sorry I haven't been blogging. We have no coverage and I've been to busy. to busy you might ask with what. I'll tell you if didn't stop asking questions. Last time I blogged it was before (I think) rafting, so I'll catch you up but yin not a lot of details. Rafting was a blast!!! During the rapids I sat at the front so I got a face full of water while everybody on barely got wet.
After rafting and Moab we went to Capitol Reef. We stayed in a place (in Capitol Reef) called Friuta. We picked a lot of fruit (as you can guess). The apples were stupendous!!! We then did a 6 mile hike, or new record. But it was extremely hard because it was in the water, it was called Sulfur Creek Trail. It was really beautiful.
Next we went to Bryce Canyon. We stayed in the in the nearby Dixie National Forest. It was pretty hot in then day, but at night it was freezing temperatures dropped almost to 50 f!!!! We looked at a lot of views, did some hikes that I can't remember. But the highlight of Bryce was the rodeo. There was a rodeo in town with every thing from bull riding to cattle lassoing. There were a group of like 3 yrs. old to 5 yrs. old all riding sheep. One was so young that his dad had to hold him on the sheep.
Next we ventured to Arizona to go to Lake Powell. We got on the houseboat and the best part, it has a slide!!! I have spent about 4 hrs. on it in the one day we got, it was in a span between 11:00 and 8:00. So it was pretty impressive. We're now on our second day on the house boat. It gets pretty hot, but since when it gets hot, we just jump of the side.
Now if you want more information contact my secretary (who is my mom) for more info. Please call her every 5 minutes. She likes it, and if she says she doesn't, she's kidding.
Lake Powell out
Peace!!
