What a (couple of) day(s)!!!!
Hello. Let's get down to business. Real Salt Lake won 2-0, and I got a jersey, now I have only $40 left. Te next day we went to Ogden for a bike ride and swim. Yesterday we started dance camp. It's called Dance Tech Studios. I do lil' man dance camp. It's breakdancing, parkour, and just pure fun. There are 2 instuctors, boh men, one is 15 and named Cole, and the other 18 and named Tyler. There are only 3 kids including me. The 2 other kids are 7 yrs old. We're learning lots of dances. Today after camp we went to a crater with a natural hot water springs inside. It was really awesome.
See y'all later (not really).

Ben . . . are you really learning to do "hip hop?" I have it on good authority that in the Great Winter of '48 Daniel Boone Lefkowitch originated some of the moves that are now popular. The story(and I'm sure it's true) goes that it was so cold that Dan fell asleep warming his feet next to the fire. He awoke to find his toes smoldering. What followed is rumored to be the origin of Hip Hop. It wasn't until Sister Mary Elizabeth, who'd been woken from her month long hibernation, took Dan's musket and hit him solidly upside the head. Dan was so shaken by the blow that he staggered down the hill, his eyes crossed, and tried to snuggle with a sleeping grizzly. More on this later.
ReplyDeleteMr Awesome, not only do I so enjoy reading your blog and catching up on the happenings in Salt Lake city, but also reading grandpa Michael's comments - not that I actually follow them all!! We are looking forward to seeing your newest dance moves when you get back.
ReplyDeleteTake care and have fun. Much love
Dear Granny . . . please understand that I am writing for a very sophisticated audiance and that it is often difficult to combine humor with accurrate historical perspective. Half the time I don't get it.
ReplyDeleteHello BB (aka Mr. Awesome)
ReplyDeleteGrandpa Michael's historical 'facts' make me laugh!!!! Hopefully he brings a smile to your "dull, non active, sleepy" hours. I just don't understand why you are not doing anything this summer. I am so envious of the descriptions of your restful, languishing, lazy days... So glad you have found some fun with the breakdancing. Promise you will teach me when you return to your busy life here in glorious, scenic Chicago!!!! Love love to you all.
