Swimming, eating, hiking, and sleeping is what we do here

What a day it was!!!!!!!! First, we went to a bakery where I got a bread roll and Sarah got a loaf of bread. Then we drove to a very narrow and unstable bridge where my mom almost vomited. Then we drove go a different bridge that was even more unstable, and my mom also almost vomited again. Then we drove to a hike that was really beautiful and have bridges that (you guest it) my mom almost vomited (isn't that really "surprising"). There'd where also a few caves where my mom got creeped out because she thought that there were "bats and spiders" (Ohhhhhh, spooky) (no offense mom). Then, we went to a restaurant and got fries (yeah, there still popular half way across the world) and played hearts. Then, my dad made pasta and we had that for dinner, and then me, my dad and my sister went to get (in my words) on of the worlds best ice-creams. So now, I'm laying in my parents bed and blogging. Only 2/1 days until I see you!!!!! Slovenia, over and out.

  1. Are you telling us that Sarah ate a whole loaf of bread?! Not possible....... Your poor Mom. Hope you gave her lots of TLC! We are going to have to try all the ice cream shops in Chicago when you get back to find one that you like!! See you SOON!!!!!! XXXXXXXXXXXXXX

  2. Poor Mom! At least you have to give her credit for crossing these seemingly unstable bridges and for having the strength to only "ALMOST" vomit. I mean it could have been a lot worse. Right?????? And, were there spiders and bats in the caves? I'm right with your Mom on this one. I do not like to be in the same vicinity of "Creepy crawly things". So Slovenia wins the ice cream wars? Who would have thought? How are we going to keep you entertained and properly "ice creamed" when you return to your homeland? We have our work cut out for us. We miss you... But not for too much longer. :) Lots of love, Mr. Awesome.

  3. Ben . . . Murray Shostakovich, in his alter ego as a world famous dietician, describes "almost vomiting" or "near vomitting" in technical terms . . . very icky. I myself have had numerous experiences with this condition. I recall flying home from my first honeymoon when I felt the need to go to the washroom, where I remained thru the landing, despite the protestations and threats of the flight crew. Another incident that comes to mind . . . Maybe we should do a compilation for our family book of occassions of "near or almost vomiting." We would have to exclude Emmette, who has no half measures, as in the return flight from Punta Cana. We could probably have a separate category for distance (projectile). I think I will stop here for the sake of decorum. Thank God you are coming home soon. I'm getting a little nutsy.
