The traffic in Croatia was great because there was no traffic at all, but in Montenegro, right after the border, the traffic was horrendous. It took us half a hour for what would have took 2 minutes without traffic. But after the Montenegro border control, it was much better.
Once we checked into our apartment (notice how I didn't say hotel, you know why, because it isn't) we walked around the old city, and it is magnificent place with all this great architecture and great history. After that we went to get ice-cream that was actually recommended in a book that my parents read and use as their guide for the trip like it's the guide to life. I got chocolate, Sarah got cookies, and my mom and my dad shared raspberry.
After that we went swimming and I got some really cool rocks for Sarah from underwater. Sarah will probably tell you more about that. And then we got dinner from a pizza place and watched a making of some movie or something like that. I think they just did it to mess with the people. It was kind of funny because the director had no idea what she was doing. So long for now!!!!!! Montenegro, over and out.
Who are you? "Great architecture and history."
ReplyDelete"Like its the guide to life." Give me a break! An adult is inhabiting your body. 10 year olds don't talk like that. When I was your age I could barely put two sentences together, much less formulate a coherent thought about different countries. It was one thing to have you analyze football games. Now your talking about directors not knowing what they are doing.
Stop this! I want my grandson back!!
I love your blog Ben! The trip sounds amazing! We all miss you, Friday nights are not the same! Have a great time, lots of love

All this talk about different ice creams!! Sounds delicious and makes me hungry! Please have a mint chocolate chip one for me!! Much love
ReplyDeleteI think Grandpa's right.... You are speaking "adult-eze". No one is surprised about that, however. Grandpa is also right that he did have trouble formulating a coherent thought,,,,We are all so pleased that he often accomplishes that feat!!!!!!! Not always, but often. Are you able to compare which country has the best pizza or the best ice cream? Or are they all fantastic? AND of course, I wanted to hear more about the movie being made. How did you know the director didn't know what he/she was doing? I got a call today to maybe be in a music video. I've been playing phone tag with the director. I need to know more about it, and when it is going to be filmed. Still, it was fun to be asked. I miss you and love you loads. Keep enjoying the architecture and the history in all these magnificent places.
