Boy, I'm really TIRED!!!!!
Today was so hectic!!! Today, we started off with a 3 movie marathon. We watched Flushed Away, the old Karate Kid, and Tom and Jerry.Later we went to Tzfat to see our friends (yes, the same friends as yesterday). We went to the pool, where we met a kid named Shlomo (translation:Solmon) and played the same water polo/football/soccer game as we did yesterday. Then after that, we went to walk to the old city in Tzfat (we never made it there) but on our way there, we went to the artist colony, where my mom got this really cool picture of a tree in Israeli water colors. Then we went for dinner at some restaraunt in downtown Tzfat, then we went for icecream, I got chocolate, Sarah got strawberry sherbert, Jonah got bubblegum, and Micah got pistachio. Then we walked back to there hotel to say goodbye (not really, because we're going to see them in Jerusalem next week). Shalom (as we say here). I can't wait to see you all again!!!!!!! I miss you!!!!!!!

That's a lot of Glidah, but I suppose if it is hotter than it is here (and boy is it hot here) then you need it. And if we are talking flavors... no mint-choc chip?
ReplyDeleteShalom and love...
Wow! Movies, pool, art and ice cream with good friends. Now how do ya beat that?????? Is Mom taking photos of everything? I remember Elaine took us to Tzfat on my first or second trip to Israel. I loved it, because I love art and history... It has a lot of both. I'm sure it's very hot there, but I think Chicago and the entire mid-west is giving you some competition in that area. Some might call this heat oppressive. I on the other hand would rather have heat that cold any day. I'm sitting outside on my deck right now because I like this better that the air conditioning. I think I'm just programmed differently than most people. I love you and wish you cooler days. :)
ReplyDeletePapa here -- I suppose that you heard that the USA women's soccer team lost the world cup finals to Japan in Germany on Sunday. Sounds like you are having a great time and enjoying all the ice cream flavors.Keep up the good work with the blog. love papa
