Island hoping

Today was a very tired day!!!! To start it off, we got to the port because we were going to go to an island called Lopud and found that are ship was a huge cruise size boat, but actually it was a medium sized boat instead.

Once we got there, I saw a great small almost hidden beach. Since we had got snorkeling gear, we snorkeled and found fish, oral and sea urchins (the prickly things). It was really cool.

After that, we went to walk around Lopud, and found another beach, which we also swam in because it was really hot (that's a lie, the sun was hot, it wasn't so hot out, so in the shade it was very pleasant). After going swimming we went to get ice-cream, and it was very good. After that, me and Sarah went to go get mangos (alright, alright, Sarah says they were peaches, but anyway, they made American fruit taste rotten).



And now my dad and sister went to get pasta for dinner tonight. So tomorrow night I will not be in Croatia, but in Montenegro!!!!!!! So as we say here, dobar (that means goodbye)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

what a day!!!!

What a day!!! To start the day off, we walked we walked the city walls, where I learned about the Dubrovnik siege, anyway, it was beautiful, and in my words, every view is better than the next.

  

 

                                

 

Than we listened to some renaissance music, then went to a couple museums, than got lunch an ate at around the walls, and on a small area were we swam.

And later learned that were we went to and were e got the food was the ideal thing to do according to a book. Then we cameback and all took a nap, then we went to try the cable cars, but they didn't work. after that we went to a beach that had a platform that we Could jump off, and it was really fun.

We made it!!!!!!!

What a day!!!!!!! To start the day off, we woke up at 12:50 and went to the airport. And a good thing too, because the check-in line was as long a a basketball court. We were in the online check-in line, but the people who were supposed to be in the regular economy line were in the online check-in line, so the regular economy line was going quicker than the online check-in line. So, after 2 hours in the line, they finally moved the people to the other line, and at security, customs and border control were uneventful. So was the flight. After that, at security at Frankfurt I saw a familiar face, it was my dad!!!! I hadn't seen him in a month. The rest of the day was uneventful, and we are in our room now (by the way, it isn't a hotel room, it, an apartment).

Today was my last day in Israel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I leave Miriam's house around 1:15/1:30 am. So, I have to go to bed at 6:45/7:00. Well, today, for breakfast we went to a little restaraunt not far from my great grandpa's house. At breakfast, there was Marla (my step-auunt) and 1 of her 3 kids (her kids are Sheri, Guy, and Tali) (Tali was the one at breakfast), Micheal (my step-uncle) and his 3 kids, my great grandpa, my great step-grandma, my mom, my sister, and yours truly,  #14 Mr. Awesome a.k.a. Benny!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm going to miss Israel, but I'm glad that I get to go to Croatia,Slovenia, Bosia, and Montenegro. So bye!!!!!!!!!!! The next time you'll hear about me will be in Croatia (and yes Grandpa Micheal, I will blog as much as I can)!!!!!!!!! Last day here!!!

Today is the last day in Kfar Varedim!!!!! We are going to Tel-Aviv tomorrow because we also leave tomorrow (well, we acually leave on friday, but at crazy hours, we get up at 1 am and our flight is at 5 am). Well, today, we did nothing except go to the pool and watch movies. Now, my step-great grandma's son and daughter brought there family and we all had dinner together. So tomorrow will be the last day a blog in Israel!!!! I'm going to miss Israel so much!!!!!!!!!I miss you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry

Sorry about yesterday, I didn't have time to blog last night. So, anyway, yesterday, for about 5 hours, we did nothing. Lter, we went to a kibbutz that did water rafting on the Jordan river. It wasn't white water rafting because (apart from a small fall) there wasn't any white water!!! Anyway, I did most of the rowing, and beacause there was 2 oars, Sarah and my mom traided of padling on the other side. So, I got a pretty good workout. After that, we went back to our house and went swimming.
Today, for 6 hours, we (agian) did nothing. Around noon, we went to a really good hamburger joint. They were the 3rd best hamburgers I've ever tasted (behind Redemax and Edzo's). Aftwer that, we went to the pool for 3 1/2 hours it was a lot of fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I miss you all so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Today

Today was defintely multi-cultural :) (you'll get why that's funny in a sec.). To start the multi-cultural part we went to the Dome of the Rock which is SO much cooler than it looks :)!!!!! The architecture is outstanding!!!!!! Even though it was built about 2,000 years ago, the style is almost modern!!!!!Than after that we saw (or what they think) is the only part of the Bet Ha'migdash (true fact: the Kotel is a supporting wall of the Bet Ha'migdash, not part of the Bet Ha'migdash) Then we walked around the area and saw the real muslim deal. Apparently, the Dome of the Rock isn't the real deal. It's a mosque called the Al-Asqa Mosque. After that, we went to check out of our hotel (before, I said it was an okay hotel, but it was SO cool!!!! There was a pool, a nice breakfast/dinner buffet,and an AWESOME game room)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope it's gets better there in the US with all the heat. But I think it is hotter in Israel than there (either that or the dry heat that I'm not used to makes it 30-35 degrees hotter).
